A number of seeds sown on the 2nd March have germinated when I checked on the 12th. Some had just started to emerge: Poppy Cherry Glow; Echinacea purpurea; Aster Ostrich Plumes; Cosmos Dream Picotee. More advanced on the 12th were: Cosmos Sea Shells; Spinaches Bordeaux & Medania; Tagetes Golden Gem. Today, I noticed Coriander Leisure and Leeks Atlanta & Swiss Giant Zermatt, Brussels Sprouts Darkmar 2, Cabbage Primo also germinated, as well as with one Cabbage Greyhound just emerging.
The other night at my son’s club, they sowed seeds of mainly herbs (rosemary, thyme, chives…) and flowers (cosmos, pansies, marigolds….) and a couple of tomatoes. Not quite sure how “thinly” they sowed them in yogurt pots.
