Daffodils were still blooming for St. David’s Day. It also marked the first day of tenancy for the second allotment.
Things are growing nicely on our first plot with various garlic overwintering. Work needs to be done on the New Zealand-style compost bins - the roof is falling apart though the sides are ok (made from corrugated metal sheeting).
Other half got up relatively early and down to Plot 2 for some digging. Hasn’t he done well:

Back on the first plot, there was a bare spot in the L shaped bed. I had finally made some seed-tapes using newspaper with a flour/water paste as glue. I sowed some Amsterdam Forcing carrots that I had prepared the night before. Other tapes made, but not yet sown, were Early Scarlet Horn carrots, and mixed tapes of parsnip White Hawk with Sparkler radish, parsnip Turga with Rubens Red Cos and Short Top Forcing radish & Early Nantes carrots with Ramrod spring onions.
