How big are those cloches? I’ve been thinking about cloches but what do you do about access for weeding, watering, pest removal etc? Lots of little cloches so you lift up, water, put cloche back, over and over (sounds like a fag)? Or a few big cloches so you struggle to remove it without dropping and smashing it, or squashing all your plants, water, and then put cloche back (without dropping it etc.)? Sounds also like a fag.

Cloches are 8′ x 4′ and have a hinge on one side. In retrospect it would have been easier just to have tied the cloches down rather than have hinges. Anyway, MVs planted stuff in them now so they can stay as they are.
